Ballet Dress Code

Please Note: All dress code items are available for purchase through NixPAC at the office and here online.

Jazz Dance

Black leotard and pink or black tights. Black jazz shoes. Students can be barefoot or use tan jazz shoes for Contemporary. Hair secured in a bun or ponytail.

Interpretive

Girls: Pink or black leotard (a skirt may be worn only if it is attached to the leotard) and pink ballet slippers, pink tights or white ankle socks, hair pulled off the face.

Boys: White T-shirt, black shorts, white ankle socks, white or black ballet slippers.

 

**NixPAC Company members may also where their NixPAC Company attire to any class.**

Hip-Hop Dress Code

All levels may wear street clothes (no jeans), but all students must have black hip-hop sneakers. There are no street shoes allowed on the dance floor.

Companies B, C, D, E, and F

A neat appearance will reflect in your dancing, therefore, hair must be in a secure bun and the dress code will be strictly enforced. No jewelery.

Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink canvas split-sole ballet slippers. No skirts. Warm-ups may only be worn with the permission of the instructor.

Boys: Fitted white shirt, black shorts or pants, white ankle socks, white or black canvas split-sole ballet slipper
