Jessie Soyangco

Twenty-three year old, Jesimiel "Jessie" Soyangco has already amassed an impressive list of credits to his name.

By the time he hit his teen years, Jessie was an active member of the performing arts community. His passion for dance combined with a strong sense of family and community, is evident in his volunteer work with non-profit organizations such as T.E.A.M.; Board of Vogue International; S.M.I.L.E. (Simply Making Individual Lives Easier - a project which promotes positive, drug- and gang-free lifestyles); and the American Lung Association. Jessie has been a NIXPAC instructor since the age of 17 and is also involved with FRESH Impact, Undefyned and the boys' dance team at Waipahu High School. He continues to pursue his dance and choreography training by traveling to the mainland to study at the prestigious "Culture Shock Dance Center" in San Diego and the highly-acclaimed Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio in Los Angeles. He has also worked with principle dancers and choreographers for Britney Spears, Pink, Destiny's Child, J. Lo, Madonna, Jessica Simpson, 'N SYNC, and Janet Jackson.

This young Filipino boy from the Islands has garnered top regional and national awards in various competitions. His years of into dedication to defining his own style of hip hop has earned him numerous award in the prestigious Spotlight Cup Competitions including: 1st place award, placement in the top ten, Judges' Choice, Director's Choice, Special Categorical, Entertainment, Over-All, Choreography, and the most coveted award in his field, the Hip Hop Choreographers Award.
