Rob Hartley

Rob Hartley started playing the piano at the tender age of five and was writing original compositions soon thereafter.  Throughout his childhood and teen years, he performed extensively in musical theater and choir. Rob completed his formal education with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Occidental College, and a Master’s degree in Music composition from the University of Arizona. He continued to perform as a barbershop singer that has taken him to numerous countries including New Zealand and Japan. Rob has more than 30 years of experience in elementary music including Punahou School, and conducts both private and group voice lessons, and private piano lessons at NIXPAC.
